RAILWAY PROTECTION FORCE (RPF) EXAMS FOR SIs AND CONSTABLES

The syllabus of the written test conducted for the candidates to appear in the RPF Sub Inspectors Constables Examination conducted by the Central Selection Board is as under:

(a) General Knowledge: The paper will be of objective type. Questions will be asked on past/current affairs, History, Geography, Hindi, Mathematics and Science.
Duration: One hour.
Total Marks: 100.

(b) General English: Questions will be set on Grammar, Précis Writing, Correction of Sentences, Annotation of selected Paragraphs/Poems, etc.
Duration: One hour.
Maximum Marks: 50.

(c) Essay writing: Essay can be written either in English or in Hindi in 300 words.
Duration: One hour.
Maximum Marks: 50.
